- Request remote desktop access (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Ask for your personal passwords.
- Access your camera feeds or recordings.

We collect limited data necessary to schedule appointments and process payments:

- Payment Data: Processed securely via Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
4. Data Retention Period
We retain your personal contact information (name, phone number, device details) for a maximum of 12 months from the date of your last service appointment. After this period, your data is automatically purged from our systems. Payment records processed via Stripe are retained in accordance with Stripe's data retention policies and applicable financial regulations.
5. Data Breach Protocols
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, CAM HELP DESK LLC will:
- Notify affected individuals within 72 hours of discovering the breach via email or phone.
- Report the breach to relevant regulatory authorities as required by California law (CCPA).
- Provide a detailed incident report outlining the nature of the breach, the data affected, and the remediation steps taken.
- Offer complimentary identity monitoring services if sensitive data was compromised.
6. California Residents (CCPA)
Since our headquarters are in Sacramento, CA, we fully comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to request deletion of your personal contact data from our records at any time by emailing support@camsmartsolutions.com.
7. SMS Communications
By submitting our contact or appointment booking form, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from CamSmart Solutions (operated by CAM HELP DESK LLC) related to your service request, support ticket status, technician dispatch notifications, and appointment reminders.
- Message Types: Transactional and operational messages only — including service confirmations, ticket updates, technician ETAs, and appointment reminders. No promotional or marketing SMS messages will be sent.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your active service requests. Typically 1–5 messages per service interaction.
- Charges: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Upon receiving STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and remove you from all SMS communications immediately.

- No Third-Party Sharing: Your mobile phone number and SMS consent will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
